Project Ref Launches

Project REF will give qualified kids access to additional funding to pursue their certification as a referee in their sport.  That funding along with support to any necessary equipment through the Calgary Flames Sports Bank will open the door for KidSport kids to gain their certification, access additional knowledge in their sport of choice, and have income earning potential through the start of a very flexible part-time job that being a referee can provide.

Champions Charity Bash – May 20th

The brainchild of Kieran Keddle the CEO will combine Muay Thai, Pro Wrestling, and White Collar Boxing to make up a card full of the different sports top athletes and local celebrities as participants that helps a local charity. Legendary Calgarian Bret Hitman Hart will be on hand for the event as his family has started Dungeon Wrestling to build upon the legacy of Stampede Wrestling in the city.

Many Faces Of Burnout….

For about 8 months I just couldn’t get excited, and when the situation called for excitement it took everything I had to fake it. I was in a thick mix of malaise, fog, and grumpiness at work, at home, or just outside doing my own thing. I didn’t process it properly at the time but I was letting down my staff, my family, and of course myself by not being in the moment or present when they or I needed me to be.
